Zenith H845 Complete Recap Kit High-Quality Radio Repair Set

Up for sale here is this recap kit for the Zenith H845 radio.  It includes replacements for all the wax and bumblebee capacitors in the radio, as well as four safety disc caps to replace the two .01 uf 1400v discs and the dual-section disc cap wired across the AC lines, and includes four individual electrolytic capacitors to replace the 4-section can cap.

These are all high-quality brand new genuine parts, the same ones I use when I rebuild vintage equipment.  Capacitors are Supertech 630v axial MPT film capacitors, Kemet safety disc caps, and four Nichicon radial electrolytic caps.  New caps are the same capacitance (or very close in the case of the electrolytics) at higher voltages.

This kit includes a total of 17 capacitors, plus instructions.  The instructions are fairly basic, but this isn't that difficult.  You should know what you're doing and have a decent soldering iron.  

These Zenith radios will often need realigning, which the instructions do not cover, and may suffer from Silver Mica Disease, which can be difficult to fix.  This kit is not guaranteed to fix everything that could be wrong with your radio, but it will certainly help.
